Sachem Day 72nd Anniversary 5K and Fun Run
Sachem Day 72nd Anniversary 5K and Fun Run takes place on November 7, 2026 at Sachem North High School in Lake Ronkonkoma, New York. The event includes a measured 5K run or walk and an untimed fun run.

Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers, and to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups from 12 and under through 75 plus. There is also a team school award for the largest team.
The course uses a mix of pavement, grass, and trail surfaces with occasional rolling hills. Registration is required and fees are non refundable; registration options include the 5K run or walk, the untimed fun run, and optional donations. Bib number is required for pickup on race day, and last minute registrants within 24 hours may receive their bib number by text quickly.
