Run The Vines 2026 #9 : Kloovenburg
Run The Vines 2026 #9 takes place at Kloovenburg Wine and Olive Estate in Riebeek-Kasteel, Western Cape. The estate covers about 300 ha with roughly 110 ha of vines planted to Mediterranean cultivars such as Carignan, Shiraz, Grenache, Roussanne, Verdelho and Chenin Blanc, and also grows Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, olives and table grapes.
The event offers multiple trail distances on working farm terrain; actual distances may vary slightly from the promoted lengths. Timing is provided by BoutTime and participants must collect a timing tag at registration. Live results and SMS results are available, and a permanent BoutTime tag can be purchased for reuse at other events.
Distances and entry prices:
- 3 km Kids U/8, free (must be accompanied by an adult)
- 3 km Adult accompanying a child, R120
- 5 km R180
- 10 km R200
- 17 km R230
All children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent. Waterpoints will be available, though participants are advised to be self-sufficient for hydration. No food will be provided at waterpoints; medals are awarded to all finishers. A late entry fee applies and unpaid entries are removed after three days.
