Run Ragged Last Person Standing
Run Ragged Last Person Standing is a trail running event held at Ragged Mountain near Berlin, CT, organized by CT Trailmixers. The course is described as rugged, hilly, and technical and uses a repeated loop of about 3.11 mile (ish) per lap.
The event follows a Last Person Standing format: runners must complete the loop within one hour each time the loop is offered. Runners who are not in line for a new loop are removed. The final runner able to complete a loop within the allotted hour is declared the winner; there are no ties and no second place.
Field size is limited to 55 runners. Entry fees are listed as $50 for general entrants and $40 for CT Trailmixers members. Race day registration is not available. No bib transfers and no refunds are permitted.
Logistics include trailhead parking at GPS 437 West Lane, Berlin, CT 06037. A regular aid station will be available and each runner has space for one chair and a small cooler at the start/finish area. Pacers are not allowed.
Required gear includes a headlamp with backup batteries for night hours. A rear facing light, emergency blanket, and whistle are listed as optional. Race proceeds will support local organizations, including the Connecticut Forest and Parks Association and the CT Trailmixers Shoe Scholarship Program.
