Run Ragged Last Person Standing
Run Ragged Last Person Standing is a loop elimination race scheduled for May 22, 2027 in Berlin, CT, organized by CT Trailmixers. The course uses trails on Ragged Mountain and is described as rugged, hilly, and technical. Runners repeat a roughly 3.11 mile loop each hour; anyone who does not begin a lap on time is removed from the field until one runner remains.
Entry is limited to 55 runners. The published entry fee is $50 with a $40 rate for CT Trailmixers members. Race day registration will not be available. There are no bib transfers and no refunds.
Trailhead parking is available at 437 West Lane, Berlin, CT 06037. Regular aid station supplies will be provided and each runner can reserve space for one chair and a small cooler at the start and finish area. Participants with specific dietary needs are advised to plan for their own supplies. No pacers are allowed.
Safety requirements include a headlamp with backup batteries for night hours. A rear facing light, an emergency blanket, and a whistle are listed as optional items. A runner manual is provided by the organizer. Race proceeds support local organizations including the Connecticut Forest and Parks Association and the CT Trailmixers Shoe Scholarship Program.
