About the race
Run Ragged Last Person Standing is a trail running event on Ragged Mountain in Berlin, CT, organized by CT Trailmixers. The event uses a roughly 3.11 mile loop on rugged, hilly, and technical terrain. Runners must complete the loop within one hour; the loop repeats each hour until a single runner is able to complete the loop within the allotted time. There are no late starts for any loop and runners must be in line to start.
Field size is limited to 55 runners. Entry fees are listed as $50 with a discounted rate of $40 for CT Trailmixer members; race day registration is not available. No bib transfers and no refunds are allowed. Registration opens November 26, 2026.
Trailhead parking is available at 437 West Lane, Berlin, CT 06037. A regular aid station will be provided. Each runner has space for one chair and a small cooler at the start and finish area; runners with specific dietary needs should plan to provide their own supplies. Pacers are not allowed.
Organizers require a headlamp with backup batteries for night hours. A rear-facing light, emergency blanket, and whistle are listed as optional gear. Race proceeds support local organizations including the Connecticut Forest and Parks Association and the CT Trailmixers Shoe Scholarship Program.
