Run for Amma
Run for Amma is a trail running charity event held at Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve in Los Gatos, CA on May 22, 2027. The event includes three course options and donates 100% of registration proceeds to a UCSF cancer research lab.
The event marks its 16th anniversary and uses the preserve for start and finish operations. Race headquarters and the finish line are set in the preserve northern lot with bathroom access. Participants are asked to park in the equestrian lot; enter the preserve gate and turn left to reach the equestrian parking area.
Bib pickup is provided for the longer distances on race day. Route maps are available for each distance and the event publishes specific course files for planning.
The race relies on local running clubs and volunteers for course marking, aid stations, course sweeping and shuttles. The organizing group includes the Stevens Creek Striders and Quicksilver running clubs.

- 50K: 5,052 feet elevation gain, 8.5 hour time limit
- 30K: 3,382 feet elevation gain, 8.5 hour time limit
- 10K: 1,026 feet elevation gain, open to walk or run
