Half marathon and 10K courses include ascents to peaks with notable views. All distances feature single-track trail sections. The setting includes forest canopy and mixed trail surfaces where walking or hiking on hills is common.
All participants receive custom finisher medals. Races are professionally timed using electronic chip timing. Volunteer photographers provide free event photos and official results are published after the race.
The half marathon is part of the Brazen Ultra Half Series, a group of half marathon events that commonly include routes longer than 13.1 miles and significant ascents and descents on challenging trails.
