Calero Trail Run - Winter
The Calero Trail Run - Winter is scheduled for December 5, 2026 at Calero County Park in San Jose, California. The event is organized by Troy's California Trail Runs and offers a variety of trail distances for different ages and goals.

The course features single track, hills, dirt paths and oak-tree scenery. The 13-mile loop is used as the base course; longer distances repeat or reverse that loop and the 50K adds an additional out-and-back section marked with orange and red ribbons. Courses are marked with ribbons, signs and gypsum, and aid stations are available along the routes. Overall time limits apply to longer distances (for example, a 9 hour limit for the 50K; other events have shorter limits).
Logistics note: the park is located off McKean Road and the organizer cautions against going to the reservoir boat-launch entrance. Bib pick-up and registration are available on race day. All finishers receive a commemorative medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
