Race Thru the Redwoods
Race Thru the Redwoods is a community running event in Felton, California that starts and finishes at Roaring Camp Railroads. The event includes a 10K and a 1 mile kids race that uses laps for the shorter course. The majority of the 10K course runs beneath the redwood trees in Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park.
The event is organized with help from the Felton Business and Community Association and local volunteers. A pancake breakfast, sponsored by the Zayante Fire Department, is included with race registration. Non participants may purchase a late brunch for a stated fee of $10.00. Participants can share photos and videos from their runs to be collected into a race album.
