Punisher Night Trail

Punisher Night Trail is a set of night trail races held at Usery Mountain Regional Park in Mesa, Arizona. The event offers multiple looped distances that run over sections of the Noso, Blevins, Moon Rock, Levee, Spillway, Cat Peaks and Cat Peaks Pass trails. Distances may vary slightly each year due to permitting.

The courses mix smooth, runnable trail with occasional rollers and rocky sections. Most distances complete one or more laps that pass through the start and finish area each loop. There is a fully stocked main aid station at the trailhead staging area and a remote Levee Aid station on course; both provide water, ice, an electrolyte drink sponsor Gnarly Hydrate, salty and sweet snacks, fruit, pb&j, bean rollups, and hot food such as quesadillas and grilled cheese.

Crews are permitted at the start and finish area only. Pacers are not allowed for any distance. A designated drop bag area is available at the start and finish for runner access.

Additional on site details include a park entry fee of ten dollars per vehicle as of 1/1/26, a cupless policy with reusable cups available for purchase, on site medical staff, live race split tracking, chip timing, finish line photos, and a finisher award produced by Aravaipa Artworx. The event can be paired with the Pass Mountain Trail Runs the same day for a Double Down custom medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
