Holiday 5K/Kids 1 Mile - Phoenix
The Holiday 5K/Kids 1 Mile is a fundraiser to benefit Marines Toys for Tots. The organizer is building a donation for the local Phoenix area but toys are not collected at the event; donations may be made through the organizer or directly to the local Toys for Tots program.

The 5K is chip timed and includes age group awards across 15 categories. The course is flat and follows the canal at AZ Falls, 5802 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, with parking at the Lutheran church just north of the park off 56th Street. The course includes a short unpaved trail section. Events are dog and stroller friendly. Water, snacks and popsicles are provided.
The event is limited to 250 runners. Early registration fees are $35 for the 5K and $25 for the Kids 1 Mile; prices increase by $5 on 12/1. All finishers receive a finisher medal and a lapel pin. Bibs, wristbands, snacks and raffle entry are included. This is a medal only event; no shirts will be provided. No packet pickup is necessary.
The Kids 1 Mile is a live race only. Kids may run one mile or less to earn a medal and a special treat; there is no timing or awards. Parents may run with their child free or may register to receive a medal. A virtual option is available for the 5K only, with virtual race packets shipped during race week.
