Pumpkin Butt in Kennesaw, GA
Pumpkin Butt is a community 50K run organized by GUTS in Kennesaw, GA. The event is classified as a run and is not official due to permit limitations. Entry is open and free to GUTS members only.
The course follows the same layout as 2024 and consists of five loops of about 10K each. An aid station is located at the start/finish area and is available once per loop. The event is cupless, so participants should expect no disposable cups at aid.
Each runner must bring one pumpkin; gourds are not permitted. Runners may end up carrying a pumpkin during a loop. Pumpkins available at the event will be assigned at random. Any runner who returns their pumpkin unharmed receives a special prize. Runners must complete at least two loops before carrying a pumpkin for a loop.
The organizers will collect canned goods to donate to the local food bank. Parking is limited at the venue. Awards may include pie for winners. Full course and parking details are provided to participants prior to the run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
