Pumpkin Butt - October 31, 2026
Pumpkin Butt is a 50K run in Kennesaw, GA, organized by GUTS. The course consists of five loops of about 10K each for a total distance of roughly 50K. Due to permit limitations the event is classified as a run and is not official.
The event is open and free to GUTS members only; membership is available through the organizer. Registration closes on October 29. Full course and parking details will be provided to participants prior to the run.
Participants must bring one pumpkin (no gourds). Pumpkins may be drawn at random for runners to carry on a loop; any runner who returns their pumpkin unharmed receives a special prize. Runners must complete at least two loops before carrying a pumpkin for a loop. The event will collect canned goods for donation to the local food bank.
An aid station is located at the start and finish area and is available once per loop. The event will be cupless. Parking is limited and participants are encouraged to plan accordingly. Awards are informal and there might be pie for winners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
