Canebrake 200 Miler and 100 Miler

The Canebrake event offers two ultramarathon distances held in Sweetwater Creek State Park near Atlanta, Georgia. The event takes place March 22 to March 26, 2027 and is organized by Yeti Trail Runners. The primary venue address is 1750 Mt Vernon Rd, Lithia Springs, GA.

Distances:

  • 200 Miles with a 96 hour time limit
  • 100 Miles with a 48 hour time limit

The course is composed of two loop options: a 5.5 mile inner loop and a 9.5 mile outer loop. Trail surfaces include compacted dirt, sections with roots and rocks, and stretches of crushed gravel. Race operations include dedicated aid stations, staff and volunteer support, and a sleep station for rest periods. An open kitchen provides hot, home cooked food during the event.

Timing and tracking are provided by Zen Arcade Timing with chip timing, real time tracking, lap counting, and split displays. Registration windows and pricing for the 200 Miler are listed by date ranges in 2026 and early 2027, and the 100 Miler has a published entry fee for the registration period.
