Both courses run on trail terrain with rolling sections and wooded views. The half course has four to five aid stations spaced roughly 1.5 to 2 miles apart; available items include portapotties, CeraSport, water, gels, pickle juice, coke, and snacks such as pretzels or chips. Lead and sag cyclists will support each race, and pacers are provided for the half marathon in 15 minute increments.
Race logistics note that packet pick up takes place at the baseball field in Pine Mountain and that late registration is available at packet pick up for a stated fee. There is a festival area open after the races. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and in age groups (19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, etc); finisher medals are given to all participants.
