About the race
On Sunday 28 September 2025, Bridgeathon, organized by PFW Running, takes place at Guys canal side tavern in Bilsborrow, Preston, Lancashire. It offers four distances: 10K, half marathon, marathon, and a 32-mile Ultra. The course runs on a flat Lancaster canal towpath: starting north from Guys through Bilsborrow and Garstang for the half, then marathon runners head south toward Woodplumpton and Salwick before returning.
A standout feature is the route past 43 bridges. All distances have a six-hour time limit. Finishers receive a bespoke medal, and the event atmosphere is supported by snacks, drinks, and a finish pub with rooms. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
