Mere Sands Mile is an inclusive Canicross event held at Mere Sands Wood Nature Reserve in Rufford, Ormskirk, Lancashire on 1 November 2026. The event takes place on scenic, mostly flat trails through woodland and well‑made tracks, with facilities including a visitor centre, on‑site café, toilets and parking. Runs are timed and presented in a non‑competitive format. The main distance is the one mile route through the reserve.
