Osprey Ambler : Sultan, WA
Osprey Ambler is a timed loop event at Osprey Park in Sultan, Washington, held on October 17, 2026. Participants may run as many laps as they want within either a 3 hour or a 6 hour time limit. The loop begins and finishes at the park shelter and passes the corner of the play fields before entering wooded single track.
The course is smooth, dirt single track that follows trails around the north and west sides of Osprey Park and runs along the bank of the Sultan River, where returning salmon may be visible. The loop is approximately 1.06 mi and has minimal elevation change. An aid station and the finish area are located at the shelter. The course may be modified depending on conditions before the event.
The event was originated by Wander Bigger Running, LLC and is presented by the Sky Valley Trail Runners Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Proceeds are designated for improving and maintaining trail networks in the Skykomish River Valley and/or for Snohomish County Volunteer Search and Rescue, Inc.
