About the race
Lord Hill Trail Run is held at Lord Hill Regional Park in Snohomish, Washington, with the start and finish at the south end of the park (13900 Old Tester Road). The event offers multiple trail distances and repeats a roughly 10.3 mile loop for the longer races.
The courses run through forested foothills with a steep opening climb, creek crossings, rocky sections, some slippery bridges, and a short technical descent near the finish. The 10 mile loop is used for the 10 Mile, 20 Mile, and 50K races; the 20 Mile repeats the loop twice and the 50K three times. Courses are marked with streamers and arrows at intersections. Aid stations supply food and hydration; the Lap Aid station serves hot savory options for longer distances.
Distances and elevation gains:
- 5K: 650 ft elevation
- 10 Mile: 1800 ft elevation
- 20 Mile: 3600 ft elevation
- 50K: 5400 ft elevation
Parking and logistics note that 5K and 10 Mile participants park off site at Monroe High School and use a continuous shuttle to the start area, while 20 Mile and 50K runners may park at the start/finish area. The event is cupless; all runners must carry a refillable container. Every finisher receives a handmade award produced with solar power. A free kid’s race of about 0.9 mile is offered on a single track with minimal elevation gain. The event supports local trail stewardship and offers options to reduce event waste.
