NSRF Suffolk Turkey Trot 5K
The Suffolk Turkey Trot 5K takes place on November 8, 2026 at Belmont Lake State Park in West Babylon, NY. The course loops around a scenic 42-acre lake and follows tree-lined trails that offer varied views of the park.
The event offers both an in-person 5K run/walk and a virtual 5K option that allows participants a full week to record and submit a time. There is also a free kiddie dash for younger participants. Race entries include event gear such as a Turkey Trot T-shirt and other swag; refreshments are provided at the finish area by All Round Foods & Waterloo Sparkling Water. Hydration is available at the finish line.
Participant amenities include an informal bag check area and bathrooms within a short walk of the start and finish. Bib mailing is available for an additional fee and requires registration at least ten days before the event to receive a mailed bib. Purchase protection is offered as an optional service for registration refunds under certain circumstances.
A portion of proceeds benefits the Never Stop Running Foundation, and 100% of donations listed for fundraising support the foundation. Age-group online recognition is awarded to top finishers overall and across standard age brackets up to 90 plus. The event is held rain or shine.
