North Yorks Ultra Challenge
The event is a multi-distance trail challenge based at Scarborough Basecamp on the Yorkshire coast on 26–27 June 2027. Routes follow coastal and inland paths including the Cleveland Way, Robin Hood's Bay, Whitby, Esk Valley, Dalby Forest and the Tabular Hills Walk. Whitby serves as the halfway stop and a secondary basecamp for full 100 km participants.
Support and event services are provided along the route. Covered rest stops appear approximately every 12.5 km with major stops near 25 km, 50 km, 75 km and 100 km. Rest stops include seating, toilets, medical areas, changing rooms, baggage pick up, hot and cold food and drinks, and a finishers meal. A medical team with doctors, paramedics, first aiders, podiatrists and masseurs is available at rest stops and on the route. The route is signed with markers and an event app provides Google maps and GPS tracking plus a timing system that logs progress at rest stops.
An on-site basecamp offers camping packages with hot showers and chill out areas for those on the two-day full challenge. Shuttle buses and parking are arranged for access and transfers.
