North Norfolk 50 Challenge

The North Norfolk 50 is an Ultra Challenge event held on Saturday 19 June 2027 with a Cromer basecamp. The main route is a 55 km loop that follows the Weavers Way and the Norfolk coastal path, passing through National Trust estates, woodland, North Walsham at the halfway point, and the seaside village of Mundesley, before returning to Cromer. The route is described as relatively flat with sections of cliffs and sandy beaches in the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Distances include:

  • 55 km loop on Weavers Way and the Norfolk coastal path
  • 25 km route
  • shorter route options

Support and logistics are provided on course. Rest stops occur approximately every 12.5 km with major stops about every 25 km; marquees, catering, seating, changing rooms, and medical and welfare tents are available. Food and drink are supplied at the stops, including a picnic at 25 km for 50 km participants, and finishers receive a medal, a finisher T shirt, and a glass of fizz. Medical teams, podiatrists, and massage support are on site, and the route is fully signed with pink arrows and GPS tracking via the event app.

Additional services listed include shuttle buses and transfers to local stations, parking, camping, a Solo Start option, an Ultra March option, and a Trailblazerz option. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
