North Norfolk 50
The event takes place on 19 June 2027 and is based at Cromer Hall Basecamp on the Norfolk coast. The main route is a 55 km loop that is described as relatively flat and follows the Weavers Way through National Trust estates and woodland to North Walsham at the halfway point. From there the route continues to the seaside village of Mundesley, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, then follows the Norfolk Coast Path past cliffs and sandy beaches back to Cromer.
Participation modes include walking, jogging, or running. Alternative formats listed for the day are shorter route options and special formats: a roughly 30 km option, a 10 mile option, a Solo Start option, an Ultra March option, and a Trailblazerz option.
Support and services include covered rest stops roughly every 12.5 km with major stops every 25 km, catering, medical and massage teams, changing rooms and seating. The route is fully signed with pink arrows and glow-sticks at night and offers GPS tracking via an event app; timing scans are taken at rest stops. Food and drink are provided at regular stops, with a mid-route picnic for 50 km participants and finishers receiving a medal, a T-shirt, a glass of fizz, and an official challenge certificate.
