North Bend Trail Fest
North Bend Trail Fest is a two day trail running festival in North Bend, Washington, organized by Mountain Running Races. The event highlights local mountain terrain around Mount Si and the Snoqualmie Valley and features multiple races, community activities, and volunteer opportunities.
Races offered include:
- Mt Si VK : under 5 km, climbs 1,000 vertical meters, limited to 70 runners.
- Skyline 30K : 30K, about 6,300 ft of elevation gain, part of the Vert Running Series championship and listed as a UTMB Index 20K event.
- Little Si 10K : 10K, about 1,275 ft elevation gain, starts at Torguson Park with a road approach then trail climbing.
- North Bend Double : entry to both the VK and the Skyline 30K, over 10,000 ft climbing total, limited to 50 runners.
The Skyline 30K carries a reported $4,500 prize purse plus gear awards and bonus entries for select fastest finishers. Finishers receive custom awards and event-specific post race items; some finishers may choose a tree planting option. Seven dollars from each Skyline 30K registration is donated to Recovery Beyond. The festival program includes a food tent, community gravel ride, climbing wall, kids race, inflatable race, sponsor demos, and other community centered activities. Divisions include Men, Women, and Nonbinary categories, and Elite, Sport, Masters 45+, and Youth Under 20 classes. Volunteers earn race credit for hours served.
