About the race
North Bend Trail Fest is a two day mountain running event in North Bend, Washington on October 2 and 3, 2027, organized by Mountain Running Races. The courses are set to showcase local terrain around Mount Si and the Snoqualmie Valley, with steep climbs, technical trails, and strong community involvement. Races scheduled include a true mountain 30K with substantial vertical gain, a short but very steep vertical kilometer, a 10K that starts at Torguson Park with a road section before climbing onto trail, and a two-day double combining the VK and the 30K for significant total elevation. Registration opens December 1, 2026. Distances and key facts: - Mt Si VK: under 5 km, 1,000 m vertical gain, limited to 70 runners. - Skyline 30K: 30 km, 6,300 ft elevation gain, $4,500 prize purse. - Little Si 10K: 10 km, ~1,275 ft gain, starts at Torguson Park. - North Bend Double: two-day double, ~35 km total, over 10,000 ft vertical. Divisions include Men, Women, and Nonbinary categories with Elite, Sport, and Masters classes.
Prize money and special awards are defined for elite placings, and the 30K donates $7 from each registration to Recovery Beyond. Festival activities in town include post-race food, a community gravel ride, a climbing wall, youth and novelty races, kombucha on tap, and sponsor demos. Volunteers receive race credit for service.
