North Bend Skyline 30k
The Skyline 30k is a mountain running race in North Bend, Washington, presented as part of North Bend Trail Fest. It is designated as the Vert Running Series Championship and carries a $4,500 prize purse; winners also receive a Broken Arrow entry.
The course contains more than 6,500 feet of elevation gain and uses sections of the Old Si trail, which includes sustained steep climbing. Terrain is predominantly up-and-down mountain trails where power hiking is commonly used to manage the climbs and descents.
The race weekend centers on Torguson Park and nearby trailheads and includes a full-day Mountain Adventure Expo. Festival activities on the same weekend include a community gravel ride, a kids race, food vendors, kombucha on tap, field games, and a climbing wall. Professional race photography is provided and finishing awards are hand-painted by the race director.
Packet pickup and race services are organized at local locations in North Bend and at nearby trailhead parking areas. The Skyline 30k is presented alongside other festival races, including a separate vertical kilometer event and a 10k on Little Si, allowing runners to combine formats over the weekend.
