Mystery 5K and Kids 1 Mile - Phoenix
The event is a community running fundraiser in Phoenix, AZ, benefiting Desert Mission Food Bank. It includes a live 5K and a live Kids 1 Mile race and is organized by Run Your Race. The event is limited to 150 live runners.
All finishers receive two choice medals from past events; each registration includes a bib, wristband, snacks and a raffle entry. The 5K is chip timed and awards age-group prizes across 14 categories. Optional past race shirts in adult sizes are available for 5K runners while supplies last; the Kids 1 Mile does not include shirts. Virtual entries are available for the 5K only; virtual packets are shipped during race week and finish times are reported back to the organizer.
The course is flat and follows the canal at AZ Falls, 5802 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, with parking at the nearby Lutheran church north of the park off 56th Street. Water, snacks and popsicles will be provided along the course. Dogs and strollers are allowed, though the route includes a short unpaved trail section. On race day all live participants check in on arrival and pick up their bib. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
