Montane Delamere Forest Trail
The event takes place at Delamere Visitor Centre in Delamere Forest on Sunday 24 January 2027. Two trail distances are offered:
- 10k
- Trail 13 (referred to in event information as a Half Marathon)
The routes run mainly on wide forest trails with some single-file sections. The course is described as relatively flat with few undulations, but includes a notable climb up Old Pale in the final miles. There is an overall race cut off for the Trail 13 event of 3.5 hours from its start.
Entry categories and fees are listed as discounted and general rates: discounted entry for the 10k and the Trail 13, and higher general entry fees for both distances. Entrants must be at least 16 years old on race day. Entries close either when the event is full or on the Friday prior to race day at 12 noon.
Included with the entry fee are a bespoke finisher’s medal and electronic timing. Event photographs will be available to download free from the official event photographer or on the event Facebook page. Dogs are not permitted to participate in the race but may attend the start and finish areas as supporters. Routes are available on Strava. Sponsors include Montane and The Endurance Store.
