This event offers a choice between a half marathon and a full marathon, with entries open for the 2026 race and a limit of 200 places for the main event. A virtual option runs during the week of May 4th.

The course is based at Carding Mill Valley near Church Stretton in the Shropshire Hills. Each lap covers 13.1 miles across the Long Mynd and surrounding Shropshire hills. Marathon entrants complete two laps of the same circuit. Aid stations are described as well stocked and marshals are present on course. All finishers receive a medal.
