Marriott's Way 10k
The Marriott's Way 10k is a trail race along the Marriott's Way between Aylsham and Reepham in Norfolk. The 10 km course starts on the Marriott's Way in Aylsham and finishes in Reepham Market Place. The route is flat and mostly off road on softer ground along the old railway line, passing through Norfolk countryside.
The event uses five start waves at ten-minute intervals to space runners on the route. Race headquarters are at Woodgate Nursery, Cawston Road, Aylsham; the start line is a short walk from the HQ and its car park. A complimentary shuttle bus runs between the finish area (Reepham High School) and the start, with seats offered to runners first and any remaining seats offered to spectators on a first-come-first-served basis.
Support on the course includes water at 5 km and at the finish. Toilets are provided at Woodgate Nursery and Reepham Market Place; there are no toilets at the start line or at Reepham High School. A bag drop operates from Woodgate Nursery and is moved after the race for collection at Reepham Market Place; a bag tag is supplied with race numbers.
Entry fees are £19 affiliated and £21 unaffiliated; a corporate challenge entry is £70. All finishers receive a vest, medal and goodies. The event is sponsored by Orsted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
