Malham Trail Half

The Malham Trail Half is a trail half marathon based at Malham Show Field in Malham village (BD23 4DA). The route passes notable limestone features including Malham Cove and Malham Tarn and includes a climb to Weets Top followed by a long descent with extensive views.

The event is the third race in the Due North Trail Trilogy and offers a partially way marked course with drinks stations providing water and juice. Included for participants are a post race meal (pie, soup or similar), Due North merchandise, sponsor goodies and free car parking. Toilets are located at the back of the race field.

Prizes are available on the day for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for male and female open categories and non binary, plus first in veteran categories V40, V50, V60 and V70 plus. Minimum age for entry is 17. Entry fees are shown by affiliation status and a discount of up to £10 per entry is available when entering three or more events in the series.

Runners must register at the tent in the car park to collect their race number. Minimum kit requirements include a waterproof jacket, hat and gloves, a cup or bottle because no cups are provided at drink stations, and a mobile phone with the race day emergency number stored and a location app such as OS Locate installed.
