Clowbridge 5k - NYD!
Clowbridge 5k - NYD is a 5 km trail race at Clowbridge Reservoir on 1 January 2027. The event is based at the Rossendale Valley Sailing Club on Manchester Road, Burnley BB11 5PF. The route follows a popular path off the Pennine Bridleway.
Runners complete two laps of the trail path around the reservoir in an anti clockwise direction. The course is described as fast and flat, with about 25 m of elevation gain across the 5 km distance. The event is open to participants aged 11 and older.
Prizes are offered and marshals are present on the course. Entry fee information and the published entry period apply to this edition. Participants are asked to park sensibly; available parking includes the lower car park at the Sailing Club and Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir.
