Clowbridge 5k - NYD!
The event is a 5 km race held on 1 January 2027 around Clowbridge Reservoir. The course consists of two laps of the trail path, run anti-clockwise from the Rossendale Valley Sailing Club, Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 5PF. The route is described as fast and flat with 25 m of elevation over the 5 km distance.
Entries are open to people aged 11 and older. Entry fee for the event is £6.50. Entries open on 8 September 2026 and close on 31 December 2026, and entries are managed through SiEntries.
The event is organised by RunJMC and runs under RunJMC licence ARC 27/0054. The course will be marshalled and prizes will be awarded. Participants are asked to park sensibly in local parking areas, including the lower car park at the Sailing Club and Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir. Monies from the events will be donated to local causes.
