Montane Howgill Fells Trail : 11 April 2027
The Montane Howgill Fells Trail offers three distance options that run in the Howgill Fells with the start and finish area based in Sedbergh at Stonehall Lane, LA10 5LJ. The event includes on-course feed stations and route maps are provided for each distance.
Runners must be 16 years or older on race day and carry the items listed on the compulsory kit list for their chosen distance. There are mandatory cut off points on the course; for example, entrants on the longest route must pass the Ravenstonedale feed station at 16.9 miles within five hours of the start, and the final course cut off for all distances is 7 hours 30 minutes from the start.
Entry fees are tiered with an early discounted rate for the first 100 entries and higher general entry prices thereafter. Entries close when the event is full or on the Friday before the race at 12 noon. Dogs are not permitted to take part in the race but may attend the start and finish area as supporters if well behaved.
The entry package includes a custom finisher’s medal, feed stations on route, electronic timing, and event photographs available to download from the official photographer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
