HOTH Helloween Madness 2026

HOTH Helloween Madness is a six hour night race on the Humber Bridge in Hessle, East Riding Yorkshire, held on 31 October 2026. Participants may run, jog, walk or crawl around a measured lap on the bridge during the event.

Competitors attempt to complete as many 4 mile laps as possible within six hours. Participants must complete a minimum of one lap every three hours. Reported totals in past events range from about 6 miles up to around 44 miles during the six hour window.

Entry requirements include a minimum age of 16; entrants under 18 require parental consent. Walkers are welcome alongside runners. Fancy dress is popular but not mandatory. Every finisher receives a shirt and a medal.

A number of places each year are donated to a fund set up by the competitor’s family to help people under 21 get into or continue with their sport; those running for the fund are asked to raise sponsorship at least equal to the cost of an entry and these charity entries are limited. The event notes a no refunds policy.

The event emphasises enjoyment, inclusion and mutual support among participants and is presented as an endurance challenge on the Humber Bridge night course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
