Hotfoot Hamster
Hotfoot Hamster is a fixed time trail running event held at Nardini Manor in Buckeye, Arizona. Runners choose from time based races around a USATF certified 500 meter loop on a flat crushed gravel surface that circles the historic manor grounds.
The event offers these options:
- 24 Hour
- 12 Hour
- 6 Hour
The course layout is a well marked loop with timing mats each lap. A main aid station is located directly on course with a separate express water fill line to reduce congestion. The aid station provides vegan and vegetarian options and can accommodate gluten sensitive needs when notified. The event is cupless so runners should plan to carry a bottle or reusable cup; some reusable cups are available for purchase onsite.
Facilities include portable restrooms along the course and permanent restrooms on the grounds. Crew may set up in designated areas west of the timing line and a staging area is provided for drop bags, tables and tents. Pacing is not allowed at this event.
Parking is free onsite with access from Jackrabbit Road. Medical services are provided by Medstar Solutions. Typical race weekend weather brings hot daytime highs often between 90 and 100°F with overnight lows around 65 to 75°F.
Awards are given to the top three overall and to masters in each time division. Live split points and chip timing provide on course tracking throughout the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
