Mesquite Canyon Trail Runs
Mesquite Canyon Trail Runs takes place March 13, 2027 at White Tank Mountain Regional Park in Waddell, Arizona. The event features multiple trail distances run on single track and dirt roads with desert trail conditions.

The 50K and 50 Mile courses cross Ford Canyon and require downhill rock scrambling over White Tank rock formations, extended climbs, and technical single track descents. Trails include rocks, sand, cactus and gravel. The 50 Mile course is listed at about 49.57 miles with approximately 7,725 feet of total elevation gain and a maximum elevation near 3,227 feet.
Aid stations occur every 1.8 to 8.8 miles and supply water, an electrolyte drink, sweet and salty snacks, and fresh fruit. There is an 8.8 mile stretch with no aid on the longer courses; participants are advised to carry at least 2 to 3 bottles of fluid (about 50 to 70 ounces). The Mesquite aid station is remote and has no ice. Goat Camp aid will accept drop bags for the 50K and 50 Mile distances and provides water and ice. Ford Canyon aid is a water only station.
Courses are marked with orange ribbons and colored laminated signs. Crews are permitted at the start/finish area and Goat Camp. Pacers are permitted for 50 Mile runners after the 50K mark or from the Goat Camp aid station, roughly mile 37. Medical staff are based at the start/finish headquarters.
