HARP24
HARP24 is a 24 hour endurance event at Cherry Orchard Country Park, Rochford. Participants run as many laps as they can on an 8 km route through the Essex countryside. Entries are available for solo runners, pairs, or teams of up to 12.
The event is organised as a charity fundraiser for HARP Homeless Charity. A portion of registration fees covers event costs and merchandise, with the remaining funds supporting work to address homelessness in Essex. One entry option offers a reduced fee with a fundraising pledge of £100; if a charity entrant has not raised at least 50% of their pledge three weeks before the event, they must either pay the outstanding amount or risk cancellation of their place.
Practical arrangements include real time chip timing with leaderboards, a goody bag with merchandise and snacks, a medal and a branded event T shirt, and the option to camp on site from Friday night. Toilets and showers are provided free for participants. Food trucks will be available during the weekend. Dogs are allowed on leads on the course and in the camping area when supervised.
