F.I.T. Frills Trail Race
The F.I.T. Frills Trail Race is scheduled for November 1, 2026 in Cumberland, Rhode Island, at 1464 Diamond Hill Road next to the Senior Center. The event uses the field adjacent to the Senior Center as the start and finish area. Ample parking is available near the Senior Center and participants are asked to park toward that area.
The event uses a rolling start format; participants must pass through the start and finish lines so their timing chip records their time properly. Timing is provided by the Orbiter timing system, with live results visible at the timing table and full results posted within a couple of days after the event. Participants must keep their timing chip on for the entirety of their race.
Medical support on site is limited to basic first aid. Organizers reserve the right to stop any participant deemed medically unfit to continue. Local emergency medical services will be requested if further care is needed.
Course details are provided for each distance and marked by colored flags and arrows. The 5 mile course follows the same route used for the Survival of the F.I.T.est 34 Hour and contains rocky sections, hills, and winding trail. The 4 hour multi lap option follows the 5 mile course and only miles completed before the four hour mark count toward results. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
- Kids 1 Mile, mostly smooth and somewhat hilly loop, yellow flags
- 5k, slightly more technical than the kids course, green flags
- 5 Mile, more technical with rocky sections and hills, red flags
- 4 Hour multi lap, follows the 5 mile course
