Fishponds 10km & Half
The Fishponds 10km & Half Marathon takes place from Dummer Down Farm in the Hampshire countryside. The event is hosted by Dummer Down Brewery and is named after the brewery's Fishponds hazy ale.
The event offers the following distances:
- 10 km
- Canicross 10 km (limited to 25 entries, mass start)
- Half marathon (two laps measuring about 13.5 miles)
The courses run across private farmland, trails, woodlands, fields and local roads. Terrain is largely off road, listed as about 80-90% off road, with elevation gain reported between 163 m and 319 m. There are one to three cupless water stations on course; the race is cupless.
Entries include a medal, a pint cup and one free drink of either Dummer Down Brewery beer or a non-alcoholic option. Other included services are chip timing, race photos, prizes, toilets, free onsite car parking and a bag drop. A camping option is available at the venue and the venue’s official camping season opens in May.
Entry fees are listed in ranges: 10 km £31-£33 and Half Marathon £38-£40. Minimum ages are 16 for the 10 km and 18 for the Half Marathon. The event supports fundraising for Sebastian's Action Trust. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
