Mapledurham 10 and Half
The Mapledurham event on Sunday 29th November 2026 is a trail running day at Mapledurham Estate, Reading, Berkshire RG4 7TR, about four miles northwest of Reading. The event offers the following distances:
- 10 km
- 10 mile
- Half marathon
Courses run over muddy paths, woodland trails, private estate roads and fields, with several uphill and downhill sections. There is a water station on course and spectators are welcome. Bib collection takes place on the day. The finish area provides complimentary mulled wine and mince pies, with a vegan option.
Event facilities include plentiful toilets, a baggage area (bags left at owner’s risk), and a race village featuring a local brewery, a massage specialist and a food van. Free race photos, chip timing and an engraved iTAB with name and finish time (sent a few days after the race) are included with registration, as is an event medal.
Practical notes: free onsite parking is available with a suggested voluntary donation of £2 to Sue Ryder Duchess of Kent Hospice. Minimum ages are 13 for the 10 km, 16 for the 10 mile and 18 for the half marathon. A 3 hour cut off applies. Dogs are not permitted and headphones are not allowed. Runners are advised to bring dry warm clothes, a change of shoes, their own drink bottle and a cup for the mulled wine. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
