Farm to Farm Ultra : Freeport, ME

The Farm to Farm Ultra is a looped trail event held at Wolfe's Neck Farm and neighboring Freeport Conservation Trust trails, including Brew Woods and Whippoorwill Woods. The 2026 course is new and runs entirely on dirt roads and trails with bridges, stairs, and roots. The loop is approximately 5 miles and is repeated by each event distance.

Distances offered include:

  • 50 mile solo, ten laps
  • 30 mile solo, six laps
  • 30 mile two or three person relay
  • 10 mile solo, two laps
  • 10 mile two person relay

There is a single aid station at the start and finish area that is passed on every loop; campground bathrooms and water sources are available along the route. There are no cups at aid stations so runners must carry their own.

Only 50 mile entrants may have a pacer and only for the final three loops; pacers must sign a waiver and pickup a pacer bib on race day. Adaptive athletes may have a guide for the full race; guides must sign a waiver and pickup a guide bib. Wheelchair and handcycle entries are not permitted due to terrain.

Awards are given to the top two overall male, female, and non binary solo finishers in the 10, 30, and 50 mile events. To receive a shirt entrants must select a registration option titled with "with shirt(s)" and register by September 4, 2026. Registration closes September 23, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
