Electric Avenue

Electric Avenue is a lap-based trail running event held in Ringwood Forest, The Chase, Verwood, Dorset (BH31 7DE). The route includes a one-mile stretch past electricity pylons called Electric Avenue, then continues onto smaller forest trails that pass pine plantations and purple heathland along the Dorset and Hampshire border.

The course uses a 7.1 km (4.4 mile) out-and-back lap with roughly 125 feet of elevation gain per circuit. A generous seven-hour running window allows participants to choose how many laps to complete. Finishers who complete one lap or more receive an Electric Avenue-themed medal. Aid is provided at the start/finish area on every lap, offering drinks and sweet and savoury snacks; the event is cupless and no plastic cups are supplied. Toilet facilities are available at the start/finish area. Number pick-up takes place on the day at race registration.

The event operates under a TRA license and distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under in line with UK Athletics rules. The event is organized by Long Player Running and the published entry price is GBP 39.50.
