Chubb Trail Races : St Louis area, April 3, 2027
Chubb Trail Races takes place at West Tyson County Park, 131 N. Outer Rd East, Eureka, Missouri 63025 near St Louis. The event offers multiple distance options:
- 50K
- 25K
- 25K RUCK (same 25K course; participants must carry a minimum of 20 pounds)
- 8M
Packet pickup is available Friday, April 2 at Des Peres Fleet Feet from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm, and race day pickup begins at the park entrance at 7:00 am. The event uses a cup-free policy; participants should bring a personal water bottle or hydration pack to refill at aid stations.
Aid stations are set up at approximately 3.5M, 8M, 12.5M, 16M, 19.5M, 24M, and 28.5M and will offer standard ultra food and electrolytes. There is an overall cutoff of approximately nine hours for the races; 50K runners face a first-loop cutoff at about four hours.
Registration prices range from USD 72.52 to 101.70 and registration closes on April 1 at 6:00 am CT. SLUG members receive a $10 registration discount. There are no refunds. Runners may drop from the 50K to the 25K up to one week before the event; drops later may affect award eligibility. Bib transfers are allowed until 2027-03-31 and must be completed through the event registration system.
A tarp will be provided for drop bags near the park entrance; unclaimed items will be donated. Swag details are still being finalized. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
