Corvedale Cake Walk
The Corvedale Cake Walk is a Marches LDWA challenge event held in South Shropshire with the start and finish at Holdgate Church near Much Wenlock, TF13 6LW. Nearby parking is signed. The event offers refreshments at control points and at the finish.

- 22 miles with a 10 hour time limit
- 10 miles with a 10 hour time limit
The 22 mile route runs from Holdgate via tracks and fields to the summit of Abdon Burf, then across hill and valley to Clee St Margaret (control point 1), onward to Munslow Park, up and over Wenlock Edge to Eaton (control point 2), returning along Wenlock Edge via Wilderhope to Holdgate. The 10 mile route proceeds from Holdgate to Abdon Burf summit, across to Clee St Margaret (control point) then to Tugford and back across fields and lanes to Holdgate.
All proceeds go to the Holdgate and Eaton church communities. Hot drinks are available at the start, full refreshments including cakes, sandwiches and drinks are provided at control points, and hot dogs are served at the finish. Dogs are not permitted due to livestock country. Entries open 1 January 2027 and close 10 April 2027; entries are limited to 160 with a waiting list thereafter. Entry is online only via SiEntries; fees are £20 for 22 miles and £16 for 10 miles, with no refunds after 1 March 2027. Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
