Circuit du Sore Legs - 23 May 2027
The Circuit du Sore Legs is a track event held at Wodson Park Sports & Leisure Centre in Ware, Hertfordshire. Races take place on a standard 400 metre athletics track and include fixed distances and a timed challenge.
Distances (based on lane 1):
- 5k: 12.5 laps
- 10k: 25 laps
- Half marathon: 52.75 laps
- Marathon: 105.5 laps
- 50k Ultra: 125 laps
- 6 hour timed event: unlimited laps
The event offers chip timing and a bespoke medal. The course is a traffic-free athletics track with aid stations positioned around the circuit. Facilities close to the track include toilets and changing rooms; free parking is available at the venue. Race photography is provided and hot drinks and cake are offered to runners.
Race procedures note that lap counting determines official distance; watch-measured distance may vary by lane. Overtaking is on the right and walkers are asked to use outer lanes so faster runners can pass. Entrants must be at least 18 years old.
