Church Stretton 50K

The Church Stretton 50K is a point to point race held on Saturday 12 June 2027. The event uses an officially measured route that organisers state was measured manually to the centimetre with a measuring wheel.

Registration and the start take place at Shrewsbury Quarry. The finish is at Rectory Fields in Church Stretton, where the race concludes at the Church Stretton Beer Festival. The minimum age for entry is 16. Dogs and prams are not permitted.

A bespoke medal is designed each year for finishers. A free bag transfer is offered from the start line to the finish line. Technical running T shirts are available for an additional charge. The event notes that marshals receive consistent praise. Completing this race together with the Shrewsbury 50K qualifies a runner for a special Shropshire Challenge Medal.
