About the race
The Charm Bracelet 50 & 100 are long-distance trail ultras held across northern England with two route choices. The longer course covers approximately 104 miles and follows sections of the Pennine Way, the Teesdale Way, the King Charles III Coastal Path and the Cleveland Way, finishing in Skinningrove. The shorter course follows the second half of the 100 route, starting in Croft-on-Tees and finishing in Skinningrove.
Distances:
- 104 miles
- 50 miles
The event is fully tracked and provides GPS trackers so spectators can follow progress. The 104-mile route has over 6,000 ft of ascent and ten checkpoints; the 50-mile route has about 1,709 ft of ascent and four checkpoints. Checkpoints supply water and snacks, with hot and cold food at selected indoor locations, and pie and mash available at the finish for all dietary requirements. Support runners are permitted from around the second checkpoint on the 104-mile course and from the start of the 50-mile course. Relay teams may enter with two to four members and must arrange their own changeover transport.
Cutoff times are inclusive: 40 hours for the 104-mile course and 20 hours for the 50-mile course. Unsupported entrants must show prior completion of a 50-mile or longer event at entry. The event operates under a race permit and includes finishers items and tracking as part of the entry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
