About the race
Carolina Thread 8/4Hr is a timed trail event on May 8, 2027 in Rock Hill, SC, organized by BALS Racing at Westminster Park. The event offers the following options: - 8 hour option - 4 hour option The course uses a 1.75 mile loop on the Westminster Park trail system with approximately 155 ft of elevation gain and loss per loop. In 2027 the loop will be run clockwise; the direction changes between years. An aid station at the start/finish will provide organic food, water, and Just Ingredients electrolytes.
Hot organic food will be prepared during the event. There is ample open field space near the start/finish for crew areas and a pavilion and restroom facilities on site. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, May 7 at Charlotte Running Company (Riverwalk), 652 Herrons Ferry Road Suite 101, Rock Hill, SC 29730, and on Saturday at the start/finish location. Swag bags include BALS logo merchandise and a sticker.
All finishers will receive a handmade medal and a Carolina Thread sticker. Top three male and female finishers in each timed event will receive custom handmade awards. Entry fees range from USD 87.50 to 110.00. Military participants receive a 15% discount with code Military15.
