Event Overview
The Broad River Greenway Gauntlet is an adventure race held in Shelby, North Carolina. Race Format
The event is structured around land navigation where missing more than two required checkpoints results in disqualification. There are options for both individual participants and teams. The race offers two primary ways to participate:
- Full Gauntlet: This version includes both land navigation and a paddling section on the water. Participants must provide their own boat for the paddling component.
- Land Gauntlet: This option consists of land navigation only, focusing on route planning and endurance without the water portion.
Participants must determine the most efficient path between coordinates, whether they choose the shortest distance or the fastest terrain.
