Boo the Stigma 5K
Boo the Stigma is a community event held at Shelby Middle School on the school's cross country trail that aims to raise awareness of mental health. The event features a 5K walk/race and welcomes participants of all ages.
Participants receive t-shirts and medals. There will be booths staffed by local mental health providers offering information about available resources. Proceeds from the event will go toward purchasing supplies to help children in need.

Time divisions for results and awards are organized by age groups: 10 and under, 10 to 15, 16 to 20, 21 to 30, 31 to 40, 41 to 50, 51 to 60, and 61 and over.
