BOFRA Farleton Knott
This is a fell race at Farleton Knott in the Lake District on 8 August 2027. The course distance is 4.2 km / 2.6 miles with 457 m / 1499 ft of climb. The venue is located on the A6070, about 1 mile from M6 junction 36 near Kendal, LA6 1PB.
Entry is available on the day for a fee of £5.00; there is no pre-entry for the senior race. The senior race takes place after a series of junior races. Junior races are held for U9, U12, U14 and U17 categories with an entry fee of £2. Category is based on age at 1 May and the minimum age for junior competitors on race day is 6. The minimum age for the senior race is 17 based on age at 1 May.
Teams are not allowed. The event is listed as Category AS with Skills PM. The race does not hold a permit or insurance from the Fell Runners Association. Course records listed are 18:44:00 for the male record and 22:41:00 for the female record, both set in 2021.
