Blisters & Brews Telluride 5k

Blisters & Brews is a fundraiser 5k held in Telluride in conjunction with the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival. The event raises money for the Telluride Adaptive Sports Program in honor of festival friend Felix Snow.

The course begins and ends at Elks Park in downtown Telluride. Runners follow Colorado Avenue to the river trail, climb toward the Pandora Mine and pass views of Bridal Veil Falls on the way up, then return on a gentle decline back to Elks Park. The distance is 5 km and two aid stations along the route provide water, electrolytes and snacks.

Post-race activities include live music, free beer and free Blues & Brews yoga sessions. Race winners receive various gear and swag. Timing is provided by CJ Sports Timing and live results are published on My.RaceResult.com. Packet pickup is available at the festival box office on Friday and at Elks Park on the morning of the race; on-site registration may be available subject to space. The event includes an adaptive athletes category and has a combined field limit of 200 participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
