The Bentham Big Stone Fell Race is a short fell race held in Bentham, Bowland/NW Lancs., as part of the Bentham Agricultural Show on 4 September 2027. The course covers 7.7 km / 4.8 miles with approximately 217 m / 712 ft of ascent and uses the venue at Bentham Auction Mart, Main Street, Bentham, LA2 7HF (grid reference SD 668 692).
Entry is available both in advance and on the day. Pre-entry fee is £7.00 and entry on the day is £9.00; pre-entry will be available at a date to be confirmed. Teams are allowed, with teams consisting of three members. The minimum age for entry is 16, defined as at least 16 years on 31/12/27. There are no junior races listed.
This event carries a permit and associated UK Athletics insurance through the Fell Runners Association (FRA). The Bentham Big Stone is a new race and therefore has no course records yet.
