Beer City Half San Jose
Beer City Half San Jose takes place on May 29, 2027 at Almaden Lake Park in San Jose, California. The event is presented as a Beer City Festival with a set of running and beer-focused activities held at the park and nearby trails. The race routes use Almaden Lake Park and the Alamitos, Calero Creek and Guadalupe Creek Trails.

- Half Marathon: trail course around Almaden Lake and nearby creeks
- 10k: running option on park and trail sections
- 5k: shorter running option on park and trail sections
- Beer Stroll: a one mile walk around Almaden Lake
- Beat the Beast Beer Mile: one mile race that includes drinking four 12 oz beers; participants caught by the Beast are removed from the race
- Beer Tasting Only: tasting entry open to ages 21 to 100
Post-run festival activities include beer tastings that introduce brewers from San Jose and California. Runners receive a shirt, a finisher woodalion medal, a custom tasting glass, and unlimited tasting at the post-run festival.
