Beacons Ultra, Marathon and Half 2026
The event in Talybont On Usk in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons offers three trail races on Saturday 7 November 2026. Races start and finish in the town near Henderson Hall and follow mixed surfaces including trails, mountain paths, canal towpaths and some road sections.

The ultra is run as two loops of an approximately 23 mile circuit, with an out and back section to Pen y Fan on the first loop. The marathon follows a single loop of the classic route with a short ascent to Pen y Fan. The half marathon runs to the east of Talybont On Usk and includes the 551 m Tor Y Foel and the Talybont reservoir.
Elevation totals are provided for each race: ultra 2,258 metres, marathon 1,319 metres and half marathon 543 metres. The event takes place in mid November when weather can vary considerably. The minimum age to enter is 18. The organiser is Andali Events. Entry fees listed are GBP 80 for the ultra, GBP 60 for the marathon and GBP 40 for the half marathon.
